Dear DCL/DLCL members,

For the first time, DCL is organizing Themesoft DCL Champions Trophy 2014. All Captains/Managers of all DCL Tapeball/Leather teams please nominate max 5 players from your team. We will pick three/four teams based on the available list of players. DCL will designate one icon player for each team and those icon players will be responsible for picking the team.

Icon Players:

1. Will pick the team and captain the side

2. Responsible for communication between team members. 

3. Responsible for sending umpire. (DCL will provide umpire for finals)

DCL Management:

1. Provide Equipment

2. Provide Grounds

3. Provide Balls and tapes

4. Provide Umpire for Finals

When

Aug 30th & Aug 31st. 

Where:

Alma or Garland (working out the details)

Max games in tournament:

4 (including finals)

Max number of Teams: 4 (Based on the availability of the Players)

Rules:

1. Each Icon player will pick 14 players based on list of players available. 

2. Players from all divisions can participate. 

3. We will follow all the rules and regulation of our DCL tape ball league. (Eg: 20 Overs, 8 overs powerplay etc)

4. We can also form 4 teams if we have enough players. 

5. Nominated Players should be available both the days. 

5. Icons players will be announced by Monday Aug 25th and Final Teams will be announced by Wed Aug 27th. 

I request all the managers and captains from all DCL/DLCL teams to send the confirmed list of 5 (max) players by End of Friday Aug 22nd. Please send email to dclmgmt@gmail.comwith Team Name and list of players with their email address and Cell phone numbers !!!.
